Gukdo Art Cinema Info

This hole-in-the-wall theater typically only plays unknown independent Korean movies, and unknown foreign language movies without English subtitles, but occasionally, they’ll screen something of interest that’s understandable to an English speaking audience. Unlike the Busan Cinematheque though, they strictly show contemporary films. No retrospectives, reprints, or showcases. Tickets are 6000 won and they screen up to 6 movies a day. For screening information, visit the website at http://cafe.naver.com/gukdo.cafe

How to Get There:

Its location is a bit obscured, so give yourself a little time to find it if this is your first time going. To get there, take line 2 (the green line) to Daeyeon Station. Get out at exit 3 and then follow the directions in the map below. Walking from the subway station takes about 10-15 minutes, or you can take bus 138 one stop to save a little time.
